Meghalaya

The best time to visit Meghalaya depends on your preference: October to February offers cool, pleasant weather, clear skies for sightseeing and trekking (especially root bridges), while the Monsoon (June to September) is ideal for witnessing roaring waterfalls at their fullest, though with heavy rain. The post-monsoon (October-November) is also great for lush greenery with receding rains, with winter (Nov-Feb) perfect for festivals and caves.
